Training Programme - Gateshead Private Landlords Association

Gateshead Private Landlords Association have now set their training programme for the next 12 months.

All courses are held at the Angel View Inn at Low Fell and include refreshments, lunch and course workbooks.

The cost for the full day course is £20.00 for GPLA members and £40.00 for non members.

Landlord Development Programme/Newcastle Private Rented Service

Next Dates 

As part of Newcastle City Council, The Newcastle Private Rented Service is pleased to invite you to attend its Landlord Development Programme. 

The ‘Landlord Development Programme: Full Day’ is designed to cover many of the issues that landlords face in their day to day work and is accessible to new or prospective landlords as well as offering helpful tips, advice and good practice to more experienced landlords. 

In addition we can now offer an ‘Introduction to Lettings and Record Keeping’, which is a half day session designed as either a starter session or a supplement to the full day course.  This session is for landlords keen to learn more about the basics of lettings such as finding suitable tenants, getting a property ready, using tenancy agreements, inventories and managing rent accounts. 

The sessions will take place on: - 

Landlord Development Programme: Full Day Wednesday 5th November 2008, 9 till 4, £30 Or Wednesday 4th February 2009, 9 till 4, £30 - at the Mansion House, Fernwood Road, Jesmond, Newcastle upon Tyne. 

An Introduction to Lettings and Record Keeping: Half Day (AMs)Thursday 16th October, 9.45 till 1.30, £15 or Thursday 4th December, 9.45 till 1.30, £15 or Thursday 15th January, 9.45 till 1.30, £15 - at Newcastle Private Rented Service Office, 91 Tamworth Road, Newcastle Upon Tyne

Section 2 - 365 Networking Events

As a company we like to run regular networking events to allow our clients and contacts to secure more business in a friendly environment.

We strive to be a bit different from the norm and usually run these events in a variety of strange places and locations.

The main aim being to promote the different businesses that attend allowing them to network but with a large focus placed on fun and laughter!!

Our last event was on the 26th June 2008 on board the Black Diamond, a 45 foot sailing yacht based at Hartlepool Marina.

The event involved 3 hours of sailing in the morning with a 2 course lunch to follow in the afternoon at Krimo's Restaurant on the Marina.
